Sad to hear about the passing of Leonard Nimoy this morning. We booked him as a speaker on several occasions over the last 12 years. His lectures were outstanding.
More importantly, he was kind and gracious to everyone he met. And I can’t count how many times he answered Star Trek questions and posed for photos with people using the “Live Long and Prosper” hand gesture.
Attached is a photo of my oldest brother meeting his hero, Mr. Spock. It’s the only time I have ever seen my brother speechless.
Leonard Nimoy was a great actor, terrific director, poet and, what many people may not know, an outstanding photographer.
We will miss you Mr. Nimoy!
